The Problem

Marketing Bought One Piece at a Time

Most companies assemble marketing the same way: a vendor here, a freelancer there, a platform they inherited. It rarely adds up.

01

Channels run alone

Search, social, ads and the website are bought separately, so none of them is accountable for the whole result.

02

Scope is a negotiation

“Is that included?” gets a different answer every month, and every answer costs both sides time.

03

No one owns the number

When five vendors report five dashboards, the only person connecting them to revenue is you.

The Story Marketing Model

One team. One monthly investment. Everything working together.

You get a marketing department, not a stack of retainers you have to coordinate yourself.

Positioning

An Outsourced Marketing Department

What you get

Strategy, media, creative, content, web and analytics under one roof, all accountable to one plan.

A monthly roadmap decides where the effort goes. One team executes it. One dashboard reports it.

How the Work Runs

A roadmap sets the priorities, a request queue absorbs whatever comes up in between, and a dashboard shows the result.

How Priorities Get Set

The Monthly Roadmap

Your subscription gives you access to Story Marketing's complete team and capabilities. The monthly roadmap determines which priorities are actively executed at any given time.

The roadmap holds the plan. The request queue absorbs what comes up in between: a new promotion, a competitor move, a page that has to change today. An in-house team works the same way.

Each month the roadmap weighs
Business goals Current opportunities Performance to date Available media budget Website needs Campaign priorities Your team's capacity
Onboarding

The First 90 Days

Days 1 to 30 Audit and align Collect access and assets Confirm goals and audiences Audit website, analytics and ads Review SEO and AI visibility Confirm tracking is accurate Build the 90-day roadmap
Days 31 to 60 Correct and launch Fix critical tracking issues Ship priority website improvements Launch or restructure campaigns Begin content and social publishing Create campaign assets Establish benchmarks
Days 61 to 90 Refine and expand Review early results Refine targeting and messaging Cut weak tactics, fund strong ones Improve landing pages Review lead quality Build the next-quarter roadmap
Requests

One Active Request at a Time

Submit as many requests as you like in StoryApp™ and rank them yourself. We work the top one to completion, then pull the next.

Turnaround

Requests are reviewed within one business day. Most routine updates are completed within three business days. Larger requests get an estimated timeline after review.

Never waits in the queue

The queue governs your requests only. Our own program work continues without interruption:

Advertising campaigns
SEO and AI search
Content and social publishing
Reporting
Strategic website improvements
Requests

How Every Request Is Classified

You always know which bucket a request landed in and why.

01 Included routine update Enters the queue and ships on the standard turnaround.
02 Included strategic work Folded into the monthly roadmap alongside the plan.
03 Needs clarification We come back with questions before anyone spends time.
04 Separate project Estimated in hours against a defined scope, and approved before work begins.
05 Not recommended We'll tell you why, and what we'd do instead.
The Creative Department

When You Need to Build Something, You Do Not Go Find a Vendor

Your monthly program runs the marketing engine. Everything below is built by the same in house team, quoted as its own project, and delivered without a handoff to anyone outside this building.

Brand & Identity Brand strategy & positioning Logo & identity systems Brand guidelines Naming & messaging Sales collateral systems
Web & Development Website design & build Ecommerce development Custom plugins & software API & CRM integration Mobile applications
Video & Photography Commercial production On site & drone video Product & team photography Motion graphics & animation Testimonial & brand films
Print & Environmental Brochures & direct mail Trade show & event graphics Vehicle wraps & signage Packaging design Large format & out of home
Sixteen years of this work, under one roof. Every project is estimated in hours against a written scope, so you approve a number before anyone starts.

Investment and Terms

One monthly fee, media at cost plus 15%, and published rates for creative and projects.

Creative Department Rates

One Rate Sheet. Two Ways to Use It.

The same published rates govern extra creative on your monthly plan and standalone projects. The more creative you use, the less every hour costs.

Hours beyond your allowance Rate
Up to 10 hours $155/hr
Up to 20 hours $145/hr
Up to 30 hours $135/hr
31 hours and beyond $125/hr
$450 /hr Media production: videography and photography.
On location within 30 miles of our Greenville office, or in studio. Travel beyond that is quoted separately.
Path one · Ongoing marketing Your allowance included, then billed monthly Creative that supports your marketing. Your plan includes a monthly allowance; anything past it is invoiced at month end at the tier you land in.
Path two · Scoped projects Estimated up front, 50% and 50% A website, a brand, a video. Same rate sheet, hours estimated against a written scope before anyone starts.
Path One

Creative on Your Monthly Plan

Your plan includes a monthly creative allowance. When the roadmap needs more than that, you see the estimate before the work starts and you are billed at month end for what was actually used.

01 Estimated on the roadmap Your monthly roadmap says what the work needs, in hours. If it calls for fifteen to twenty and six are included, you know that before we begin.
02 Tracked against the estimate Every hour is logged in StoryApp™, so you watch the running total against the estimate as the month goes.
03 Billed at month end Hours beyond the allowance appear on your next invoice at the tier your usage reached. Nothing is prepaid.
How it reads on the roadmap Agreed before we start
The roadmap calls for twenty four hours of design and your plan includes six. You approve eighteen billable hours up front. They land in the up to twenty tier, so every one of them is $145 rather than $155. Cross into the next tier and the rate drops again, across all of them.
Path Two

How Scoped Projects Are Billed

A project has a beginning and an end. Hours are estimated against a written scope at the same published rates, and you approve the number before work begins.

01 Scope and estimate We define the deliverables in writing and estimate the hours. Larger projects reach the lower tiers on their own.
02 50% to begin Half the estimate is due up front. Your project enters production and you get a timeline the same week.
03 50% at the halfway mark The balance charges automatically to your card once the first half of the estimated hours is consumed.
If the scope changes We re quote it and get your approval before we continue. Scope creep is a conversation, never a surprise line item.
Hours are visible throughout Consumed and remaining hours show in StoryApp™, so you always know where the estimate stands.
Advertising Media

Campaign Minimums

Media is separate from our fee. Every campaign needs a monthly floor to reach enough of your market to produce a readable result.

Search $1,000 Google and Microsoft Ads, per month
Meta & social $1,000 Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, per month
Display & programmatic $1,000 Including retargeting and geofencing
CTV & video $2,500 Connected television, YouTube, digital audio
Each campaign covers one market. Adding a market adds a campaign minimum. Stretching one budget across a wider territory is the most common reason local campaigns fail. We would rather win one market than show up faintly in three.
Advertising Media

How Media Is Billed

15% media management

All advertising media is billed at cost plus 15%. One rate, every platform, every budget level, including media purchased through our programmatic and CTV partners.

You approve every budget. No tiers, no thresholds, no surprises when you scale.

What the 15% covers Platform setup and campaign structure
Daily pacing and budget control
Bid, audience and placement optimization
Placement quality and fraud monitoring
Consolidated billing and reporting
