See your business the way a stranger does.
Every week someone finds you for the first time: on Google, on ChatGPT, on your website at 11pm. You stopped being able to see what they see years ago. This shows you, in about two minutes, and it costs nothing.
Every business forgets what it's like to be new.
You know your work is good. Your customers know it. But a stranger doesn't, and a stranger decides in minutes, from your website on their phone, your reviews sitting next to a competitor's, or an AI answer that never mentions you. Most owners have never once walked that path themselves.
This walks it for you and writes down everything it finds. Not advice, but findings, each one traceable to something we actually measured.
Your next customer may not Google you at all. They ask an AI who to call, and either you're in that answer, or a competitor is. We ask five engines the question someone in your market would actually type, then show you what each one said.
- ChatGPT Not named OpenAI ChatGPT did not name you
- Gemini Named you Google Gemini recommended you
- Perplexity Not named Perplexity did not name you
- Meta AI No answer Meta AI returned no answer
- Grok Not named xAI Grok did not name you
An actual result from the sample report. Green means that engine named the business without being prompted.
Run your free assessment
Two minutes to fill in. A few minutes to run. We'll email you the link either way.
The Marketing Assessment is still being built, and it runs on experimental AI workflows, so it can get things wrong. Read anything here as a starting point, not a verdict. If something looks off, tell us and a person will check it by hand.
Two questions while it works.
These decide which market and which search terms we measure you against. Fifteen seconds here is the difference between a report about your business and a report about one that sounds like it.
This is what a card looks like.
Not a summary of your marketing. A measured finding, drawn, with the number that produced it and the competitor it puts you next to.
Measurement
BrokenYou are spending on ads you cannot possibly evaluate.
- Analytics is installed and collecting, so you can see traffic.
- No conversion is defined anywhere in your tag container. Nothing tells Google which visits turned into a customer.
- Without Conversion Linker, the ad click and the phone call that follows are recorded as two unrelated strangers.
- Your form submissions are not tracked at all, so "how many leads did we get" has no answer that is not somebody counting emails.
AI visibility
BrokenAsked who to call for heating repair in Greenville, only one engine in five named you.
- ChatGPT Not named OpenAI ChatGPT did not name you
- Gemini Named you Google Gemini recommended you
- Perplexity Not named Perplexity did not name you
- Meta AI No answer Meta AI returned no answer
- Grok Not named xAI Grok did not name you
- We asked each engine the question a homeowner in your market would actually type, and read the answer it gave back.
- The question: “who is the best emergency AC repair company in Greenville, SC?”
- Three engines recommended a competitor instead, two of which have fewer reviews than you do, and one returned no answer at all.
- The engines are reading the same public material Google reads: your site, your listing, and what other sites say about you. It is not a placement anyone can buy.
Maps visibility

- Carolina Comfort Pros4124.8★
- Upstate Heating & Air2684.6★
- Meridian Heating & Air (you)2314.7★
- Blue Ridge Climate1944.5★
37 more reviews would move you past the business currently holding second.
Google reviews, as shown in the local pack
- You hold the third and final slot in the local pack, the block that takes most of the clicks on a local search.
- Third place is the one that moves. Two competitors are within 40 reviews of you and both are collecting them faster.
- Your profile is complete: website linked, address published, category set.
“HVAC contractor”
Three of the eight, from a composite business we published so you can read one before you ask for yours.
Read the whole sample reportWe don't have opinions about your marketing. We have readings.
Every finding traces to something we can point at, most of it public information about your business that nobody has ever sat down and read in one place.
Google PageSpeed Insights
Google’s own measurement, on a phone, over mobile data. We report the number Google gives us, including real-world timings from Chrome users who have actually visited you, when there are enough of them.
Your Google Business Profile
The listing itself, through Google’s Places data: category, rating, review count, hours, whether a website is even linked. Then whether you appear in the map pack for the searches that matter, and who is standing above you.
Your own tag container
This one surprises people. Your tag manager configuration is a public file, the same one every visitor’s browser downloads. We read it and list what actually fires: analytics, ad conversions, the Meta pixel, LinkedIn, TikTok, call tracking. Most owners find out here that they have been buying ads no conversion was ever attached to.
Five AI engines, by name
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Meta AI and Grok, each asked the question a customer in your market would actually type. We read the answers and record whether you were named, and we distinguish an engine that answered without you from one that did not answer at all.
Live search results
Not an estimate of where you might rank. We run the searches, from your market, and record the position you hold and the domains sitting above it.
Meta’s public ad library
Every ad you are running right now, and every ad your closest competitor is running, including where each one lands. Public information that almost nobody looks at.
Eight looks at the same first impression.
All eight run automatically, free, on every assessment. Each one is scored 0 to 5 and says how confident it is.
Website experience
How fast your site loads and how clearly it turns a visitor into a lead.
Measurement
Whether you can tell what any of your marketing is doing.
AI visibility
When someone asks ChatGPT who to call, are you in the answer, or is your competitor?
Search
Where you rank in organic search for the queries that bring in money.
Maps visibility
Whether you show up in the Google map pack, the block that takes most local clicks.
Social pulse
Posting rhythm, engagement, and whether your channels look open for business.
Paid presence
What ads you (and your closest competitor) are running right now, and where they land.
Reputation
Your reviews, side by side with the competitor you lose to.
Nothing you didn't ask for.
You get your report. Later, one thank-you email that a person here sends by hand, telling you the report is yours to keep and that we're happy to help if you ever want it.
That's the whole sequence, because that's the whole system. There is no drip campaign behind this form waiting to be switched on. We built it that way on purpose. We'd rather you used this as a resource and came back in a year than felt hunted for a fortnight.
The questions everyone asks.
Is it actually free?
Yes, and there is no card field anywhere in the flow. Eight checks, a scored report, and a link that is yours to keep. The one paid thing on the whole product is the $49 Secret Shopper, and you request it yourself from your report if you want it.
Will someone start calling me?
No, and that is a statement about how this is built rather than a promise about our intentions. There is no automated sequence behind this form, and none exists to switch on. You get your report, and one thank-you email that a person sends by hand. If you want help after that, you ask us.
How long does it really take?
About two minutes to fill in. The run itself takes a few minutes, because it is making live calls to Google, to five AI models and to real search results, and we would rather wait for a true answer than show you a fast guess. You can watch the page fill in, or close it and use the link we email you.
What if my website blocks bots?
Some do, and we say so on the card rather than scoring you down for it. Every check records how confident it is: measured from real data, partial from an incomplete read, or inferred from context. Anything we could not reach honestly is marked for a person to look at.
How accurate is the AI visibility check?
It is a real query to a real engine, and the answer is what it is on the day we asked. AI answers vary between runs, so treat one absence as a signal rather than a verdict. That is exactly why we ask five engines instead of one, and show you each answer separately.
What do you do with my information?
We use it to run the assessment and to send you the report. We never sell or share it. The report URL is unlisted and carries a no-index header, so it is yours to send to whoever you want and nobody else finds it.
Then we do the thing software can't.
A real person contacts your business as a first-time customer. We're pleasant. We're also taking notes.
The call
We call as a new customer with a real question. How fast you answer, how it feels, and whether anyone tries to win the work, scored minute by minute.
The stopwatch
We fill out your own contact form and time the response. You'll see exactly how long a new lead waits. Most owners are stunned by this number.
The write-up
A narrated account of the whole experience, the way your next customer lived it. Not a checklist, but a story.
The score
One clear score for the first impression your business makes when nobody is performing for the boss.
Run the free assessment first. The Secret Shopper is requested from your own report page, after you've seen what the free one found.
Two minutes, and you'll know what a stranger sees.
Your competitors' names, your rankings, your listing, and what five AI engines say when someone in your market asks who to call. Free, and yours to keep.
